My name’s Fei, and I’m a media strategy consultant specializing in journalism, digital strategy, and helping organizations develop digital and offline brand presences.
I’ve reported for publications including HuffPost, OUT, The Art Newspaper, Paper Magazine, them, MIC, the Asian American Writers’ Workshop; I’ve also developed webinar/podcast/radio programming for Uptown Radio, Jing Culture and Crypto, and the Taiwanese American Foundation’s 2020 initiative, TAFLabs.
While pursuing my MS in Journalism at Columbia University, I founded Inherent Magazine, a digital publication spotlighting everyday mental health stories. Our debut report featured an interview with Rowena Chiu, former assistant to Harvey Weinstein, and navigated her relationship with life post-fame, motherhood, and advocacy for victims of workplace sexual harassment. Inherent would be honored by Admeradia's [R]evolution campaign for our mission to raise mental health awareness, especially for AAPI voices. Visit the digital archive here.
In 2023, I founded HELLGIRL Agency, a media consulting agency dedicated to bridging the adult industry to mainstream media. As founder and COO, I collaborate with businesses interested in sex positivity, providing media strategy and consulting services that empower and amplify their voices. Our mission is to create a bridge between these industries, fostering understanding and growth.
As a media strategy consultant, my past and current clients include Kinokoniuya USA, Anime NYC, Angelina Paris, Read Aurore, Eva Oh, and Jing Culture & Crypto. I’ve helped clients develop social media advertising strategies, podcasts, media relations, offline brand activations, and more. I’m drawn to businesses constantly pushing boundaries and am always up for a professional challenge that merges corporate success with an underground and subcultural edge.
